Problem
  • What will happen when coke, vinegar, ginger ale,
    cooking oil and water are put with red cabbage?

Hypothesis
  • I think that the red cabbage and the vinegar
    will turn red.
  • I think that the coke will turn the cabbage
    leaves yellow.
  • I think that the ginger ale will turn the cabbage
    kind of red.
  • I think that the cooking oil will make the
    cabbage smell bad.
  • I think that the water and the cabbage will stay
    the same.

Materials
  • Vinegar large bowl
  • Ginger ale 5 bottles
  • Water measuring cup
  • Cooking oil
  • Coke
  • Red cabbage
  • Food blender

Procedure
  • Fill the blender with the red cabbage.
  • Blend.
  • Strain the content.
  • Label.
  • Then pour the cabbage a cid into 5 bottles add
    one half a cup of each liquids pour bottle.
  • Cover bottle observe and record results.

Observation
  • After I poured the vinegar in the bottle.
  • It started to fizz a lot.
  • When I poured the coke into the bottle it was
    black.
  • When I poured the water into the bottle it stayed
    the same.
  • When I poured the cooking oil into the bottle it
    made it kind of smelly.

Observations(2 hours later)
  • The cabbage and vinegar are starting to sink to
    the bottom and it is bright pink.
  • The coke and the cabbage is getting kind of
    smelly.
  • The cabbage is still floating in the ginger ale.
  • The cabbage and the water look and smell bad
  • The cooking oil has risen to the top of the
    cabbage.

Observations The Next Day
  • I noticed that the ginger ale and the cabbage
    have turned a bright purple.
  • I noticed that the cooking oil has stayed at the
    top.
  • I noticed that that the cabbage and the water has
    not changed at all.
  • The vinegar and the cabbage are pink and still
    floating.
  • I noticed that the coke and the cabbage are
    turning black.

Conclusions
  • When the vinegar and the cabbage touched it
    started to bubble and fizz.
  • When the coke and the cabbage touched it
    bubbled .
  • When the cabbage and the cooking oil went
    together and the cooking oil went to the bottom.
  • When the cabbage and the ginger ale to touched
    the ginger ale went to the bottom and it started
    to turn kind of light purple .

Conclusions
  • The water and the cabbage stayed the same the
    hole time but it really smelt bad and it is mushy.

What I learned
  • I learned how to make a power point presentation.
    Its lots of fun.
  • I learned that the cabbage can have lots of
    effects on cooking oil, vinegar, coke, ginger ale
    and water. The best part is when you get to do
    the experiment's.
  • I learned that you should always save in file
    save as instead of file save. You should always
    keep saving youre work every 10 minutes. And
    have fun.
