and the psychological motivation of the

Research
  • During 2006, the European year of workers
mobility, the Dublin Foundation has commissioned
a research team to analyse the special
Eurobarometer on Mobility. This research will
result in one descriptive report on mobility in
Europe, and five analytical research papers on
the drivers and barriers to mobility and the
economic and social effects of mobility in
Europe. EUROCADRES will ask a researcher or an
institute to revise the main finding of this
research from the viewpoint of professional and
managerial staff in companies. The mobility
research revision will also imply the
(re)calculation of the main indicators for this
specific occupational category. This will assure
a decent empirical introductory contribution on
the closing seminar on the impact of mobility on
    the career development of PMS.
  • A 2nd part will look at a specific region, namely
the France / Flanders region, where also the
Netherlands and England have an influence, and
analyse the attitudes, drivers and barriers of
both employers and P MS. This will be compared
to the findings of the first part of the study as
well as to other European experiences.
