Impact of Activities on Members

• 150 Personnel/Human Resource Managers enlightened
  on how to prevent and manage HIV/AIDS in the
  workplace
• 50 personnel practitioners exposed to guidelines
  for workplace policy development
• 10 member companies have instituted workplace
  policies
• 180 peer health educators trained on how to
  prevent and manage HIV/AIDS in the workplace,
  including how to care for people living with
  HIV/AIDS without putting self at risk
• 1,600 IEC materials distributed to over 400
  companies

• Survey to institute a data bank on the status and
  impact of HIV/AIDS in the Organised Private
  Sector
• Dissemination of survey findings
• Promote workplace policy development and
  implementation
• Procurement and distribution of anti-retroviral
  drugs to employees living with HIV/AIDS
• Create more awareness and education on the
  pandemic as it affects the individual, business
  and society
