• eMATCH
• Online referral service for matching volunteers
  with volunteer hosting/non-profit organisations
  and vice versa.
• Grants
• NVPC administers the New Initiative Grant (NIG)
  and Non-Profit Sector Training Grant (NTG). The
  NIG is a development fund for new volunteer
  and/or philanthropy initiatives, and the NTG is
  for volunteer administrators to upgrade their
  skills through NVPC.
• These programmes/activities will come under
  Singapore Cares (SG Cares) from Sept 2009

• Research Publications
• NVPC commissions surveys to better understand
  the giving scene in Singapore and to formulate
  more effective actions. This includes our
  biennial Individual Giving Survey, recent studies
  on Institutions of a Public Character and
  barriers to effective volunteer management.

• Volunteer Orientation Sessions
• Monthly sessions for new volunteers.
• Board Match
• A programme to build capacity in the
• non-profit sector by matching qualified
  individuals committed to the idea of
  strengthening non-profit boards with the NPOs in
  Singapore. Through this initiative, NVPC seeks to
  identify committed individuals from the wide
  talent pool in Singapore to help in NPO board
  renewal.

  companies to employee volunteering initiatives

  corporates to extend their skills, lend their
  business core competencies, or contribute in
  cash, kind or resources to the community on a
  term basis

• Community Foundation of Singapore
• An independent, nonprofit, philanthropic
  organisation which builds a collection of funds
  from many donors in the community.
• It provides services to the community and its
  donors, makes grants, and undertakes community
  leadership and partnership activities to address
  a wide variety of needs.
• The Community Foundation of Singapore will
  target high net worth individuals by matching
  their interests with causes and non-profit
  organisations.
