travelled the first 40 miles in 1 hour. He
stopped for 30 minutes to have lunch and then
completed the journey in half an hour. Show
his journey on a distance time graph.

arrange to meet at some point on the road
between their homes. Keith leaves at 945 am and
cycles for 1½ hours at an average speed of 16
kph. He then stops for 30 minutes for a rest.
