• Changed in response to Gap Analysis feedback
  conducted in 2006
• Gap analysis conducted by external consultants to
  gather HR stakeholder feedback and identify
  service gaps
• One of the identified gap areas was the Exempt JEQ

Summary of JEQ Issues

• The JEQ takes too long to complete
• There is confusion resulting from the need to
  document each compensable factor and
• Managers and employees are frustrated with the
  Exempt JE Committee changing ratings noted on the
  JEQ

Changes

• JEQ now divided into overall accountabilities/job
  elements
• Form now focuses on those aspects of the job
  elements that are being evaluated
• Managers and employees no longer provide their
  ratings
• Guide updated to assist in explaining these
  changes
