Reviewing Where Weve Been

• More baptisms than in 2007.
• Expansion of adult Bible classes.
• Renewed efforts with Vacation Bible School,
  Bible Camp, and Bible Bowl.
• Welcomed 14 new family units in 2008.
• Food pantry outreach was busier than ever before.
  
• Flourishing work in Trujillo, Honduras.
• Gustav Relief efforts (positive community
  impact).
• Regular yearly ministries continued well.

• Two elders, five deacons, and an associate
  minister retired and/or moved away.
• 11 Family Units (36 individuals) moved away The
  Shirley Autra family (2), the Chris Brady family
  (5), the Otto Buehler family (2), the Beth
  Clemmons family (4), the Cliff Cunningham family
  (2), the Jody Currence family (5), the J.D.
  Eddins family (5), the Billy Kendrick family (5),
  the Brian White family (4), Ruth White, and the
  Sam Zahnd family (2).
• Some families/individuals are simply no longer
  attending.

• As we reflect on 2008, I give thanks that the
  Goodwood church has a good reputation in our
  community.
• As we reflect on 2008, I give thanks that 2008
  was a year in which Bible study has been
  successfully promoted.
• As we reflect on 2008, I give thanks that there
  is something for everyone in this congregation.
