Introduction
  • Tornadoes are among the most violent and
    terrifying of all natural event.
  • No one has lived through them ever forgets the
    strength and fury of these storms.
  • Perhaps youve been caught in a tornado.
  • Or you may have seen pictures on television or
    read about them.
  • Either way you probably have lots of questions.

How they form
  • A thunderstorm is mostly where tornadoes are
    born.
  • The storm begins as warm air, humid air rises
    upward from the ground creating updrafts.
  • These updrafts cool in the upper atmosphere.
  • As they cool the moister in the in them forms
    clouds.
  • The water droplets in the clouds grow larger as
    water vapor around them liquefie coudenses.
  • No one can prevent storms, but weather reports
    can predict and warn us when a may hit.

  • They are a lots of types of tornadoes, like Dust
    Devil, Gustnado, Land Spout, Water Spout,
    tornadoes, of course, Vortex, Twister, Wedge
    Tornado, Fire Whirl, and Steam Devil.

  • In a average year 800 tornadoes are reported
    nation wide.
  • Tornadoes are some of the most powerful thing in
    the world.
  • They can destroy houses, malls, stores,
    aparments, cars, trees, trucks, schools, and lots
    of other things.

  • A tornado is a windstorm.
  • A tornado is white at first, then they turn black
    and dark gray.
  • A thunderstorm is before a tornado and so do
    hail-storms.
