  field of higher education which promotes the
  European Union as a centre of excellence in
  learning around the world
• It supports European top-quality Masters Courses

• enhances the visibility and attractiveness of
  European higher education in third countries
• provides EU - funded scholarships for third
  country nationals participating in these Masters
  Courses, as well as scholarships for EU-nationals
  studying in third countries

The Life Long Learning subgroup will

• Consolidate the work undertaken by Sub Group 3 in
  HENRE
• Further identify training needs
• Further engage with the work undertaken by Tuning
  I and II and to contribute to Tuning III
• Investigate the potential for the development of
  joint courses to promote a life long learning
  culture
• Investigate the Erasmus Mundus process and the
  extent of radiography involvement and how HENRE 2
  can form links
