What happened and when?

• June/July 2003 Project Approval
• September 2003 team formed
• October 2003 team reaches full strength
• January 2004 take over as PM
• Feb 2004, lost one team member
• March and May 2004 Milestones
• September 2004 enter Beta
• October 7th 2004, Live!

Ive had to raise my game!

• Ive had to raise my game!
• but they pushed back on
• Its easier to move the cards around
• But I cant see the cards when Im at home
• So what am I going to get in
• it changed while I was doing a demonstration!
• What do I book my time to?

And then we took our eye off the ball

• We stopped doing Acceptance Tests
• We got hauled into preparation for production
  releases
• We got separated from our Product Managers
• We stopped finding time for pink cards
• Non-agile approval of work process

But its not all bad

• Very predictable timescales
• No surprises in a release
• We have an excellent product
• Usability is good
• With an extremely low number of defects
• And it has been easy to enhance
