Students log in to CRCT Online

From the Welcome screen, students can choose to
take Practice Testlets or Teacher Assigned
Testlets

To take a practice testlet, click Practice

Student will have one practice test for each
subject area

Highlight test and click Take Test

After completing the test, the student sees the
results of the test .

and decides whether to send score to a teacher,
to save the score, or to discard it

To take a teacher created and assigned test,
click on Teacher-Assigned Testlets

Highlight test and click Take Test

Students answer the multiple choice questions,
clicking on Next Question to go to the next page
or Grade My Test when finished

Students immediately see the test results

Teacher Functions in CRCT Online

• Create tests
• Assign tests to class
• View reports of student performance on
  teacher-assigned testlets
• View reports of student performance on student
  practice testlets (if students send test results
  to the teacher)

To create a new test, click on Test Design Center

Click on New to create a new test

Determine the properties of the test.

and, if desired, set score ranges

• then click Next

Choose a subject area

then choose a grade level

then choose a Domain area

You will then see a bank of test items for that
subject, grade, domain .

Select the items you want in the test from the
available pages of questions, then click Add

You can then preview the test, add items from
other domains or subject areas, change the
position of the items and/or create the test

Once tests are created, they can be assigned to
classes

• Click Assign Tests to Students

Select the title of the class to which you want
to assign a test, then click Assign Tests

To assign a new test, click New

From the lists of available tests, click on the
test(s) you want to assign, set any parameters
for the assignment, and click Finish.

Teachers can view reports of student test results
by going to the Results Center.

Click View Reports

Choose a report title, then click Show Report

Choose the class for which you want to view
results and click Next .

Choose the test for which you want to view
results and click Next

Reports can be printed as well as viewed online

Teachers can also view the results of Practice
tests if students send the results to teachers
