  turned their great disappointment into great joy

The significance of Christs Resurrection to
the believers salvation

• 1. The resurrection of Christ does not add to His
  righteousness (which justifies believers) but
  vindicated itRomans 14 425.
• 2. The resurrection of Christ guarantees the
  resurrection of all believers, at His second
  coming1 Corinthians 1512-14, 20, 50-54 1
  Peter 13-5.

• 3. The resurrection of Christ makes it possible
  for believers to have a High Priest in heaven as
  their mediator before the Father Romans 834
  Hebrews 724, 25. 1 John 21.
• 4. The resurrection of Christ proved that Gods
  power is greater than all the power of sinful
  flesh and Satan. The accumulated sins of the
  world put Christ in the grave but could not keep
  Him thereRomans 811 1314.

• All this proves that the resurrection of Christ
  plays a vital part in the redemption of all
  Christians.
• Therefore, this gives believers good reason to
  rejoice in the resurrection of Christ
