Current Position in 2007
  • The IPN portal has replaced the old First Class
    server
  • The Portal contains a lot of information and
    requires frequent use in order to stay current
  • Forums have been established in an attempt to
    improve communication between members
  • Sharing of technical knowledge but with no
    standard response time
  • Welcome Pack including business card holder
  • Buddy system formalised and in place
  • Standard Certificates given out to first time
    attendees
  • Service pins awarded at each meeting

Current Position in 2007 Contd
  • Three meetings a year including the Technical
    Conference which was organized and hosted by
    Alexanders along with a third board meeting. 
  • DVD record of each meeting is made and given to
    each members as a momento
  • IPN exchange programme established
  • Established methodology for choosing meeting
    locations in wonderful places however, locations
    continue to be determined by outside influences
    as the IPN is still financially dependent on
    sponsorship

    meeting including attendees list, agenda, and
    local information
  • Meetings have a theme (in combination with
    sponsor, Time is Money, Sales, Web-to-Print, JDF
    etc)
  • Begin each presentation during the meeting with a
    3-5 minute company description and individual
    introduction in order to increase our knowledge
    about each member and his/her company.
  • Have a social event organised at each meeting
  • Meeting program to address members requests by
    including topics such as small group discussions,
    networking, and case studies from IPN members

  • Conflict of interest
  • Recognizing conflicts will occur, the IPN will
    follow an established process to resolve any
    conflicts. Conflicts should be brought to the
    attention of either the IPN Chairman or any other
    member of the IPN Board of Directors. The
    conflict will be reviewed by a sub-committee
    consisting of the IPN Members Team Leader, the
    IPN Secretary, and two other IPN Members Team
    members. The recommendation of this
    sub-committee will be brought to the IPN Board of
    Directors for a final review and decision.
  • Meeting attendance
  • To follow an attendance policy to reinforce the
    importance of attendance of IPN members at
    meetings in order to maximize the benefit of the
    meetings and to further global friendship.
    Attendance issues will be brought to the
    attention of the IPN Board of Directors by the
    IPN Secretary who tracks meeting attendance or
    any member of the IPN Board of Directors. The
    IPN Board of Directors will then determine the
    proper communication and notice to be given to
    any IPN member who is not following the IPN
    attendance guidelines

  • To be followed in order for the IPN to operate in
    an efficient, effective, responsible manner as
    global friends. Code of Practice violations
    should be brought to the attendance of the IPN
    Chairman, the IPN Secretary, the IPN Members
    Team Leader, or any other member of the IPN Board
    of Directors. The suspected violation will be
    reviewed by a sub-committee of the the IPN
    Secretary, the IPN Members Team Leader, and two
    other members of the IPN Members team. The
    recommendation of this sub-committee will be
    brought to the IPN Board of Directors for a final
    review and a decision

  • Provide PDFs on IPN projects unless source files
    are required or requested
  • Quality
  • Deliver quality required by IPN customers and IPN
    members placing projects which would include
    color profiling
