About this Class

• Mathematics SL is the culminating course in
  the IB International Baccalaureate Mathematics
  sequence. It is designed for students preparing
  for a college major in mathematics or a major
  that is strongly related to mathematics. The
  course will review topics in precalculus and
  calculus. It will extended the study of
  mathematics to include topics in vector analysis,
  statistics, probability, matrix algebra with
  transformation matrices. Portfolio problems are
  included as part of the internal assessment of
  the final IB exam

Test

• A test will be given at the end of each unit.
  Test questions will be modeled after the actual
  IB Exam in preparation for the final.

• Two to three quizzes will be given on each unit
• Graded assignments will be papers written
• in class on homework and will
• be graded for accuracy

• GDC (TI-83 Plus, TI-84 or TI-84 Plus with names
