  • The rapidly evolving Internet medium offers new
    communications choices and opportunities to reach
    out to all users.
  • World is going to Broadband, web and broadcast
    merging into Web-casting
  • While still an evolving technology, web-casting
    can complement and enhance communications
    efforts.
  • Allows aboriginal stakeholders to by-pass
    traditional broadcasters, however challenge is to
    be seen in million channel web world.
  • Process
  • The ACP can be used to inform, and market
    upcoming web-casts by all partners and others
  • Organizations and departments should be
    encouraged to use web-casts for training,
    announcements and promotions.
  • ACP team can provide how to guide and names of
    web-cast suppliers for those planning events.

    inter-departmental and aboriginal organization

  • In the Internet world it is critical to regularly
    keep Internet site fresh (ie update look,
    functionality and content)
  • The ACP home page needs fine tuning to
    accommodate new applications and growing content
    (i.e. crowding-out)
  • Challenge is to re-fresh while maintaining
    on-going branding
  • Process
  • Discuss, review and seek feedback with ACP
    working group
  • Incorporate feedback and come back to ACP to seek
    go-ahead and timing
  • Send out an e-mail to all users highlighting
    changes and new features
