  • Turn camera on the camera monitor will be blank

  • Install Nikon View (required)
  • Turn computer on
  • Turn camera off
  • Connect camera to computer w/ USB

  • If installed, Nikon View will display the Nikon
    Transfer window
  • Click the transfer button
  • Nikon Browser Window will be displayed w/
    pictures
  • Confirm transfer and remove camera
  • Macintosh Users
  • Mac OS X (10.1.2-10.1.5) before turning on
    camera
  • Select Applications from the Go menu
  • Double-click on the Image Capture icon
  • Select None from Automatic Task and from Hot Plug
    Action

  • Double-click the Image Capture icon
  • Capture Dialog Window will appear
  • Select Preferences
  • Under Camera Preferences next to When a Camera
    is Connected, Open select No Application

    camera into the trash
