Peterson was walking in a street in Cape town,
when a tall man came out of the door with a
chicken between his arms.

All of a sudden a man appeared and started
fighting with him.

Then the tall man ran away and left the chicken
on the ground but the chicken had a card on his
leg which said For Mr Henry Baker.

Watson took the chicken home for his wife cook it
and she found a diamond inside it.

Peterson was intrigued by one thing How did the
diamond disappeared from Lady Morcar's room and
got into a chicken?

Peterson remembered with his friends, Watson and
Sherlock Holmes, that the diamond was very famous
and they were offering a thousand pounds as a
reward. Because on 22 December a man called John
Horner stole it.

Peterson and Holmes try to find Mr
Baker.

They put an advertisment in the newspaper to find
the owner of the chicken, Mr Baker.

Mr Baker went to Holmes house. Tell Holmes where
he bought the chicken, Alpha Hotel owner. And
Holmes give Baker another chicken because the old
one he have been eaten.

Sherlock Holmes and Watson was trying to find the
main seller of the chicken.

chicken with Mr. Breckenridge, the main seller of
the chicken.

Sherlock Holmes and Watson was leaving when they
saw Mr. Breckenridge fighting with a small man.

Holmes and Watson interrogate the small man
called, James Ryder.
