MDT Status

• Plan to October Shutdown
• 1.Completely change gas inside circulating volume
  - octants and pipes blow out circulating gas and
  fill system with fresh gas from gas trailer.
• 2. As consequence - equalize flow rate for all
  octants.

Status of Muon Detectors

MDT Status

• MDT status
• working gas is flowing through all octants in
  re-circulation mode
• purification systems is running
• local DAQ tests of all 48 octants is done when no
  collision, and Examine - when collision is
  running
• timing for all octants adjusted gates, delays -
  optimized values in FLASH memory
• optimization of operating parameters is done -
  for all octants are fixed working HV value at
  3.2kV and thresholds at 2mkA of dead channels
  for all octants is 74 (.16) out of 48640 wires
  in total all thresholds and masked channels are
  in FLASH memory
• counting performance vs HV measured for all
  octants and separately for each plane in each
  octant
• MDT efficiency measured on cosmics with working
  gas - 99
• MDT FULLY READY FOR RUN2 !

Pixels

• Plan to October Shutdown
• 1. SFE a) modifications to TOF gate to remove
  hits before 20 ns b) L1 trigger data parity
  check
• 2. SRC - new cable connector board for L2 signal.

Summary

• Obviously that mentioned parts of muon detector
  are in sufficiently working state and
• WAITING for RUN II
• This talk is brief summary of Muon Detectors
  subsystems descriptions granted by S.Doulas
  (A-phi, Cosmic Cap) and I.Vasiljev (Pixels). I
  am greatly thankful to them.
