Young Workers
  • Young workers are the most vulnerable members of
    Canadas Workforce.
  • Young workers are those workers between the age
    of 15 to 24 years.
  • Young worker are more likely to be off work due
    to an injury than any other group.

  • In Canada, in 2007, a total of 48,074 young
    people were involved in a loss time injury at
    work.
  • Nationally, there were 68 young worker fatalities
