Improvements to Joint EPA/State Planning
  • EPA and ECOS have been working closely together
    over the years to
  • Communicate earlier and more frequently
  • Increase transparency and understanding
  • Improve joint planning and priority setting
  • Improve our measures and reduce reporting burden
  • Support State planning pilot projects

EPAs Strategic Plan
  • Sets forth the long-term direction and measures
    and is the basis for EPAs annual planning
    process.
  • EPA has issued four Strategic Plans as required
    by the Government Performance and Results Act of
    1993 (GPRA).
  • We are now working on our fifth Strategic Plan,
  • for 2009 -2014.
