4Grading Objectives
- Motivate the institution to enhance the quality
of education. - Generate healthy academic competition among
growing institutions - Enhance institutional image before the
stakeholders - Enable the students during admission counseling
to make clear effective choice of institution
they prefer to study in and - Build the image of the Directorate of Technical
Education, Government of Haryana as a quality
provider of technical education in the country.
5Methodology
- Structured questionnaire designed separate
questionnaire for new and old institutions - Institutional heads/representatives to be briefed
about parameters of grading Questionnaire to be
handed over with request to fill in the required
information before the visit of Expert
Investigators (EI) - EIs will visit institutions for checking and
verification of fact, figures and information
meet HODs, faculty, staff students,
Administration and Finance Departments

- List of Documents to be collected by EIs provided
at the end of questionnaire - List of Documents to be kept ready for
verification and review by EEIs to be kept ready
by the institution before the visit of the EI - Coordinators office to inform the schedule of
visit of the EIs to institutions and Empanelled
Agency in advance

9Methodology
- Institutions started in 2008-09 to provide data
from date of establishment - Information to be provided as available up to or
as on the date of the visit of the EIs - Response to the questionnaire as

- Grades received to be Presented to Grading
Finalization Committee by the Empanelled Agency - Institutions have option to get re-evaluated
after 2-3 months within same academic year after
