After completion of the graduation, many students
are always confused as to what they should do
next. There are so many options available in
front of them right now that it becomes very
challenging for them to choose the right ones.
All students are not the same and hence, their
thought processes won't be also not same. Banking
govt exams are very much popular among the
students who have recently completed their
graduation. Along with banking, other government
exams will make the career of the students a
successful one. We are here to help students know
about these options so that they will have a
clear idea about what they should do after their
graduation is done.
Govt Exams After Graduation In this blog, we will
discuss the top seven govt exams that students
can appear for after graduation in India. They
are as follows-

1) UPSC Exams- One of the most prestigious and
elite government exams that students can appear
for after their graduation is UPSC. UPSC stands
for Union Public Services Commission. These exams
are very tough to Crack and require an immense
amount of hard work and dedication. After
successfully passing the UPSC exams, students
have chances of getting into some of the most
respected positions in India like IAS, IPS, IFS
and ICAS also. Students who are aspiring to write
these exams need to have physical fitness at a
very high level. The exams are conducted on a
round basis and also include the written tests
that need good marks for passing. Students
between the ages of 21 to 31 years are eligible
to take these exams. 2) Staff Selection
Commission Exams- SSC govt exams are conducted
every year between the period of March and
November for the staff positions in the
government offices. The SSC competitive exam will
help students to get jobs in various departments
like income tax, excise, customs, import, export
and much more. The exams are conducted on a
multiple choice basis and negative Marking is
also there in this exam. The question paper is of
200 marks in total and includes various subjects
like general knowledge, quantitative aptitude,
logical reasoning and English. Students also have
to appear for the physical exams after that to
get selected for the vacant positions. 3)
Banking Exams- Another best government exam that
students can appear for is the banking exam.
Banking Exams are conducted every year for various

positions in government banks and the salary is
also very good for these job positions. There are
various job positions that one can have after
passing banking exams like SBI PO officer, SBI
clerk, SBI Manager, and jobs at RBI. 4)
Railway Exams- Railways exams are also the best
option for students who want stability in their
career along with good pay. There are various
exams related to the railway that provide Jon
security like the RRB ALP exam, RRB NTPC exams,
Junior engineer exams, Paramedical exams and much
more. There are four stages for the railway exam
which include computer-based tests, Typing
skills, aptitude tests on the computer, medical
eligibility and also document verification is
involved in the process. 5) Army Exams- Next
government exams that are also very popular among
the young aspirants are exams for the various
army positions. Some of the exams related to the
armed forces are the combined defence service
exam, Indian Coast Guard, Indian armed forces
exams, Indian Navy exams, Territorial army exams
and much more. 6) Indian Economic Services
Exams- Indian economy-related exams are held in
two phases which include marks of 200. The first
phase includes written exams which consist of
various subjects like English, general knowledge,
and economics parts one, two and three. Indian
economy for 200 marks and all the above subjects
are also for 200 marks only. The second phase

exam which is also known as oral of 200 marks.
Students between the ages of 21 and 30 can appear
for these exams. 7) LIC- LIC is also a government
body which conducts exams every year for various
vacant job positions. The job safety over here is
also very good and students can have an amazing
career line in LIC. To get selected students need
to appear for the exams which include
objective-type questions and also descriptive

other govt competitive exams that students can
