'Canterbury Goes Pink' in support of Breast
Cancer Awareness Month. This is a call to action
for the community to come together, show their

from the 16th to the 22nd of October, Canterbury
League Club is spearheading a unique initiative
that makes it easy for everyone to contribute.

How Can You Help? By indulging in a delightful
pink dessert at either the Bakehouse Cafe or The
Bistro Cafe, you can play a crucial role in this
compassionate endeavor. For every pink dessert
purchased, Canterbury League Club will
generously donate 1 to the National Breast
Cancer Foundation. It's a simple yet impactful
way to support a worthy cause while treating
yourself to something sweet. Breast cancer
affects us all in some way, whether through
personal experiences or knowing someone dear to
us who has faced this challenging journey.
Shockingly, statistics reveal that 1 in 7 women
will face a breast cancer diagnosis in their
lifetime. This is why now, more than ever, it's
crucial to rally together and contribute to the
cause. Additional Ways to Give If you're
passionate about making a difference and would
like to contribute beyond purchasing a pink
dessert, donation boxes will be conveniently
placed around the Club. Spare change, no matter
