What is RAS?

Service (RAS) is the second largest post after

Preliminary Exam

  3 hours. This is a qualifying nature paper that
  is necessary to pass.

Main Exam
All those candidates who will qualify for the
preliminary exam will be called for the main
exam i.e. Mains exam. This is a descriptive
type exam. In which there are a total of 4
papers. Each paper is of 200 marks. The exam
duration is 3 hours to complete the Mains exam.

Interview
Candidates who are shortlisted after RAS Mains
exam are called for the final stage of the
selection process i.e. Interview. For which 100
marks have been fixed.

logical and current events, etc. are asked of
the candidate. Marks are awarded on the basis of

Finally, the commission releases a final merit
list on the basis of which the selection of the
candidate is done. Candidates whose name
appears in the final merit list are
