Mode of Direct Recruitment
  • All the regular recruitments are done through
    open advertisements in newspapers (local and
    national) and employment news.
  • In case of Group C D posts, they are also
    notified to respective local employment exchanges
    besides publishing the advertisement in MIDHANI
    website, Employment News and newspapers (national
    local).
  • The candidates apply online through e-recruitment
    portal in our website within the stipulated time.
    A duly constituted screening committee scrutinize
    the applications as per QRs mentioned in the
    advertisement.
  • The shortlisted candidates are then called for
    written test/ trade test/ interview, where a duly
    constituted selection committee evaluates the
    suitability of the candidate and gives its
    recommendation. Based on the recommendation,
    approval of the Competent Authority is obtained
    for hiring the selected candidate.
  • Apart from the above, few recruitments are done
    through Campus/GATE score.

  • 27 reservation is provided to OBC candidates in
    case of Direct Recruitment on All India basis by
    open competition.
  • 25.84 reservation is provided to OBC candidates
    in case of Direct Recruitment on All India basis
    otherwise than by open competition.
  • Concessions and relaxations
  • Age relaxation is given as per the Presidential
    Directives for OBCs possessing Non-Creamy Layer
    Certificate i.e. 3 years in recruitment in case
    the post is reserved for OBC.
  • OBC representative in Screening Selection
    Committee in Recruitment
  • OBC officer is being nominated in Screening
    Selection committees for all notified posts.

ongoing/upcoming recruitment. A special
recruitment drive was conducted in 2020.

Welfare of OBCs
  • MIDHANI strictly adheres to the guidelines issued
    by Government with respect to OBCs in employment.
  • A Liaison officer is appointed for supervision of
    OBCs welfare and employment.
  • An office room is provided to OBC Association for
    holding meetings retirement farewells.
    Management facilitates in making deduction of
    subscription amount in r/o OBC employees who join
    OBC association.
  • On request of OBC Association, Management has
    installed Shri Jyothi Rao Phules statue in the
    company premises.
  • Company sponsors for organizing birthday
    anniversary of Shri Jyothi Rao Phule. Management
    sponsors the event for celebration by allocating
    a budget with 20 year on year increase. In 2022,
    the budget allocated was Rs 25,000/- for 2023
    Rs 30,000/-.

Welfare of OBCs
  • Two OBC employees are nominated twice in a year
    for Training program on Implementation of
    Reservation Policy on SC, ST OBCs.
  • Cash awards are being presented to the
    meritorious children of OBC employees every year
    on Independence Day. Total yearly expenditure Rs
    15,000/- for 20 students.
  • OBC employees are nominated for In-House
    External Training programs from time to time.
  • Under MIDHANI Corporate Social Responsibility,
    SC,STOBC community children are being provided
    admission in LKG/UKG and sponsors their education
    up to Xth Standard. As on date, 12 OBC students
    are getting the benefit.

Verification of caste certificates
  • MIDHANI has been referring the caste certificates
    submitted by employees joining MIDHANI under
    SC/ST/OBC categories to their respective State/
    UT Government authorities to confirm the
    genuineness of the same and we have been
    receiving the confirmation reports also.

Grievance redressal
MIDHANI being a small organization, follows open
door policy, OBC Employees directly approach the
HR Department/ CMD directly for reddressal of
grievances/complaints/representations and they
may also represent through Liaison Officers /
Associations. Apart from this management
interacts with OBC Association through structured
meetings. The grievances are addressed
immediately and there are no pending grievances
as on date.
