Title: 8 worst habits according to ayurveda

1
  • 8 worst habits according to ayurveda
  • Introduction
  • Bad habits are something that everyone has. They
can be healthy and beneficial at times but they
can also cause harm if not controlled. The
following are the most common bad habits,
    according to ayurveda
  • Smoking
  • Smoking is bad for your health. It causes lung
cancer, heart disease and strokes, kidney disease
    and diabetes.
  • Its also bad for your skin because of the
chemicals in cigarettes that can damage it.
  • Smoking can cause tooth loss and make it
difficult to breathe properly if you have a cold
or allergies. It also makes you look older than
    you really are!
  • Lack of sleep and stress
  • Sleep and stress are two of the most important
things for your health. Lack of sleep can cause
weight gain, depression, heart problems, stroke
    and even infertility.
  • According to ayurveda there are six main causes
    of lack of sleep
  • Too much work at home or office
  • Job stress
  • Too much eating or drinking before going to bed
    (including caffeine)

2
  • Excessive consumption of caffeine
  • Caffeine is a stimulant that can lead to anxiety,
depression and insomnia. It also has been shown
to increase blood pressure, headaches and stomach
aches. Excessive consumption of caffeine can
    result in irritability as well.
  • Heavy consumption of sugar and refined foods
  • Sugar is a known carcinogen, and it has been
    linked to obesity.
  • Refined foods are bad for your health because
they contain empty calories that do not provide
    any nutritional value.
  • Sugary desserts, candies and other sweets are
loaded with sugar (fructose) which can lead
  • to high blood sugar levels in the body that could
lead to Type 2 diabetes or cardiovascular disease
respectively. This means that you will have
problems managing these conditions if you consume
    too much sugar every day!
  • Excessive consumption of salt and alcohol.
  • The two worst habits according to Ayurveda are
excessive consumption of salt and alcohol.
  • Salt is not good for you because it causes an
imbalance in your body. It can lead to high blood
pressure, which can cause heart disease, stroke
or kidney failure if left untreated. Alcohol
meanwhile increases stress on the liver and other
organs that need rest rather than activity - this
is why people with chronic fatigue syndrome often
find themselves drinking excessively in order to
feel better! If you want to live a long life with
excellent health then try avoiding these two
    things altogether!
  • Eating right before sleeping.
  • Eating right before sleeping is a bad habit. It
can lead to heartburn and indigestion, which are
common symptoms of sleeping disorders. It also
causes weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure
    and even cancer.
  • Avoid these habits and increase your overall
    health.
  • Avoid these habits and increase your overall
health. If you want to be healthy, its

  • Fresh vegetables are the best way to get all the
vitamins, minerals and fiber you need. They
provide your body with more than just nutrition
they also help keep things running smoothly. The
following benefits can be obtained by eating
    healthy amounts of fresh vegetables
  • A healthy heart - Veggies contain iron which
helps to strengthen blood vessels and prevent
cardiovascular disease (CVD). Iron is essential
for good circulation because it works as a
carrier for oxygen in the body so that it can
reach every cell of your body. If theres not
enough iron in circulation then it could lead to
anemia or hemochromatosis which means excess
accumulation of iron within organs such as liver
or pancreas causing damage there too!
  • Eating too much meat, fish and eggs
  • Eat less meat, fish and eggs. The most common
source of protein in Ayurveda is pulses
(otherwise known as legumes), which include
beans, lentils and peas. Other good sources
include nuts and seeds tofu whole grains such
as brown rice vegetables like broccoli or kale
fruit such as applesauce or grapeseed oil on
    salads.
  • Use more vegetables and fruit instead of refined
sugars to sweeten your food intake during the day
so that you get more vitamins from them without
    adding calories from sugar!
  • Not drinking enough water
  • Drink 8 cups of water a day
  • Drink more water if you are active
  • Drink more water if you are sick
  • Drink more water if it's hot outside or humid.
If your body is cold, drink some warm liquids
like tea or coffee, but not alcohol. Also avoid
caffeinated beverages like sodas and energy
drinks because they can dehydrate the body.
Finally, avoid drinking any kind of
sugar-sweetened beverage as these will only make
    your cravings worse!
  • Eating a lot of fried food
  • Eating a lot of fried food is the number one
    worst habit according to ayurveda.
  • Fried food is high in fat and calories, but also
sodium and cholesterol. Saturated fats are also
associated with heart disease. Trans fats are
often used as a cheaper alternative to butter or
oil that can be used in frying foods like french
    fries or chicken wings.
  • Carbohydrates should not be eaten when you want
to lose weight because they will make you feel
hungry again quickly, which means more carb
cravings later on down the line
  • when your body needs protein for energy instead!

4
  • Blaming other people for your bad luck and
unwellness is a sign of low self-esteem. People
who blame others are not confident that they can
handle their own problems and situations, so they
tend to seek help from others.
  • However, blaming others can also be a sign of low
self-confidence because it makes us feel like we
don't have the ability or knowledge to deal with
    our own issues ourselves.
  • Eating too much sugar and sweet foods
  • Sugar is not just bad for you, it's also a
carbohydrate. When we eat too much sugar, our
body becomes dependent on it and cannot function
properly without it. In Ayurveda, sugar is called
rajasic (meaning "desire-oily") because it causes
us to crave more food than we actually need.
  • Sugar is found in many foods like pasta sauce and
salad dressing as well as soft drinks such as
Coca Cola or Pepsi Max in fact there are so
many ways to get addicted to this substance that
researchers have been looking into its effects on
the brain since before we even knew what a brain
    was!
  • According to Ayurveda practitioners like Dr David
Frawley who wrote about his experiences with
ayurvedic medicine in his book 'Vasant Prakash
Secrets Of A Yogi' he said "I learned from my
elders how important regular exercise was for
keeping your mind clear but also how dangerous it
could be if you overdo things like running
    marathons every day."
  • Aversion to work or any form of hard work.
  • Avoiding work or any form of hard work.
  • If you are a person who likes to do things on
their own, then Ayurveda has something for you!
How does it help? Well, if your mind is not
focused on doing tasks and getting things done
then it can lead to various problems like lack of
motivation, low energy levels etc. To avoid this
habit try not working on days where there's no
deadline assigned by someone else (this includes
clients). Also remember that if something doesn't
feel like work then don't do it!
  • You should avoid these habits if possible because
    they can cause harm
  • Ayurveda is a science that has been around for
thousands of years. It's a holistic system of
medicine that treats the whole person, not just
their physical symptoms. Ayurveda is not a
religion, it's just an ancient science!
