The thyroid is a little butterfly-shaped gland
and it is found in front of the neck. It secretes
specific hormones to control many crucial
functions of our body. When the thyroid does not
work correctly, it can affect your body and you
may need proper treatment to balance your
hormonal disorders. To cope with thyroid
conditions, you must go for thyroid treatment in
homeopathy. You need to pay proper attention to
get rid of hyperthyroidism.
3
Lets see, the significance of thyroid treatments
for the wellness of your health.   Dysfunctions
of the thyroid gland The thyroid gland is a part
of the endocrine system, which releases hormones
into the blood vessel directly. It mainly
controls your metabolic system by transforming
the consumed food into energy. As all your body
cells need the power to function. The gland
produces and secretes hormones such as thyroxine
(T4), triiodothyronine(T3), reverse
triiodothyronine(RT3) and calcitonin.   Your
thyroid gland consumes iodine and transfigures it
into hormones. Your consumption of iodine can
affect the making and releasing process of
thyroid hormones. It can cause many problems to
your health, like low metabolism, high heart
rate, breathing difficulties, digestion issues,
infertility, skin and bone problems etc.
4
Disturb other organs The endocrine system is the
network of glands and hormones. Many hormones and
gland begin their work after receiving signals
from other glands. The human body has a
complicated system for managing the thyroid
hormone level. Firstly, the hypothalamus secretes
TRH (thyroid-realising hormone), which activates
a part of the pituitary gland to release TSH
(thyroid-stimulating hormone).   After that, TSH
stimulates the thyroid follicular cells to
secrete thyroxine and triiodothyronine. So, this
entire process gets affected and creates problems
for every organ. The cardiovascular system,
nervous system and digestive system suffer when
thyroid issues occur. Also, your reproductive
system faces difficulties if the thyroid gland
does not work properly. It affects the menstrual
cycles and fertility in women.
5
Types of thyroid conditions Thyroid is a very
common disease and it has different types of
disorders. Mainly, four thyroid conditions that
affect your thyroid system. Those are
hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, goitre and
thyroid cancer. If your thyroid is not producing
and releasing an adequate amount of thyroid
hormones, it is called underactive thyroid or
hypothyroidism. It usually happens when there is
an autoimmune disease, thyroiditis, deficiency of
iodine, non-functional thyroid gland, an overdose
of hyperthyroidism medicines or thyroid gland
removal. If the thyroid gland is producing and
secreting more hormones than the body requires,
it is because of an overactive thyroid that
causes hyperthyroidism.   It happens if you have
an autoimmune condition, thyroid nodules,
thyroiditis, postpartum thyroiditis, excess of
iodine, an overdose of hypothyroidism medicines
or a tumour in the pituitary gland. Goitre is a
condition where the thyroid gland gets bigger
than its usual size. It occurs because of the
thyroid hormonal imbalance, iodine deficiency or
excess consumption of lithium. Thyroid cancer
happens when cancer grows in the thyroid tissues.
6
Conclusion The thyroid gland is a vital gland of
the endocrine system that influences other organs
to affect your body. It is a common disease and
also treatable. Take an appointment with a
thyroid treatment doctor if you experience any of
the above-mentioned issues. Your doctor can tell
you about your health conditions and risk
factors. And treat you with proper medications
and guidance.
