    Plumbing, Electrical Service Representatives.

    safety requirements

    proprietary information, or trade secrets.

General Requirements
  • Compliance is inclusive and must be adhered to at
    all times. It is the responsibility of the
    outside contractor to ensure these requirements
    are met.
  1. Entry onto the Premises The foreman or site
    contact is required to sign in and sign out at
    the main entry or designated location each day
    and maintain a list of their employees working
    on-site.
  2. Security Always park in the company parking lot,
    unless you have received approval or direction
    from the Maintenance Manager or plant contact
    person to park elsewhere.

General Requirements
  1. Telephones Cell phones are allowed but may only
    be used in non-production or construction areas,
    unless otherwise approved by the site manager.
    Pictures may only be taken of items that are
    pertinent to the scope of the work. Company
    phones may not be used unless specifically
    authorized by your site contact person and used
    for business or emergency purposes only.
  2. Drug-Free Workplace Consumption of alcoholic
    beverages or use of controlled substances (other
    than prescribed medication) is not allowed.
    Anyone suspected of using or being under the
    influence of alcohol or a controlled substance,
    will be immediately removed and not permitted
    re-entry, unless testing proves that drugs or
    alcohol were not involved.
  3. Employee Relations Harassment of any type is not
    permitted. Any reported case will be
    investigated by Monogram Foods and if found to be
    true, the employee or contractor may be removed
    from the premises.

Basic Safety Rules
  1. You must always work in a manner to promote
    safety. Every action to prevent injury to self
    and others shall be exercised.
  2. If you ever become aware of an unsafe act or
    condition report it immediately to your site
    contact person.
  3. All injuries, no matter how minor, must be
    reported to your site contact person.
  4. All emergencies must be reported immediately to
    your site contact person.
  5. Always wear the required personal protective
    equipment for the job.

Basic Safety Rules
  • Do not use tools or equipment belonging to
    Monogram Foods, unless approved by your site
    contact person.
  • All tools and equipment must be inspected prior
    to use. If any damage or defects are found, DO
    NOT USE. If a discovered damaged or defective
    tool or equipment belongs to Monogram Foods,
    report it immediately to your site contact
    person.
  • Never alter, remove, or override safety guards or
    safety devices on any machine in the facility.
  • Do not block emergency exits, fire extinguishers,
    or other related equipment.
  • Always barricade or place warning signs in all
    places that warrant, including trip hazards such
    as hoses or cords.

Basic Safety Rules
  1. Oxygen and gas cylinders shall be chained to a
    fixed object or stored properly.
  2. Ladders shall be chained to a fixed object when
    not in use or stored horizontally on the floor.
  3. Clean up your work area periodically and at the
    end of the day.
  4. Abide by all posted signs in the plant.
  5. Horseplay of any nature will not be tolerated.

Ammonia Awareness
  • Monogram Assembled Foods is a PSM/RMP facility
  • We have approximately 27,000 lbs of Ammonia that
    is used for refrigeration.

Attached in the Contractor Packet will be a copy
of our Refrigeration Equipment Plan Map, as well
as a map of our Ammonia Piping
