About Us
JOSH KAUFMAN OWNER, HEAD ENGINEER Graduate of
The Institute of Production and Recording Ive
worked in various jobs in the industry. After
college I worked at Pachyderm Studios in
Minnesota, moved on to touring with Brian Setzer
as part of his management team. This led me to
work for Dave Kaplan Management and Surfdog
Records, where I was able to work on projects for
Glen Campbell, Eric Clapton, and many others. I
moved back to Grand Rapids and started working
with Peter Fox at Stone House Recording for 4
years. After Peter moved out west, I found this
building, did a large buildout and started Local
Legend Recording in the west side of Grand
Rapids.
