About Alberta Advantage Immigration Program
Also known as the Alberta Provincial Nominee
Program, the AAIP comprises eight promising
immigration streams that permit foreign workers
to become Canadian permanent residents after
being nominated by the provincial government. The
province invites the highest number of
entrepreneurs compared to other Canadian
provinces.

The Alberta Express Entry Stream
This Canada PNP program is for applicants who
already have an active Express Entry profile and
are qualified for the Federal Skilled Worker
Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades
Program (FSTP), or the Canadian Experience Class
(CEC). The Alberta Accelerated Tech Pathway also
falls under express entry.   The provincial
government selects eligible applicants from the
Express Entry system and sends the nomination.
Candidates with high ranks who demonstrate strong
ties to Alberta are considered for direct
nomination.

Graduate Entrepreneur stream   International
graduates who have completed their education at
an Alberta Advanced Education publicly funded
post-secondary institution can apply for this
stream. Applicants must also demonstrate a valid
post-graduation work permit with six months of
business management or ownership
experience.   Farm Stream   The Farm Stream aims
at promoting agriculture sector in Alberta.
Interested applicants must set up a new form or
buy an existing farm in Alberta. They must also
show farm management experience through education
or skills.
