3Jacob LaBelle has received various awards,
including the National Architecture Residency
award by the University of Michigan Taubman
School of Architecture, Ann Arbor, Michigan, in
2011 and Basic Decency Protecting the Human
Rights of Children (Photography Cover Credit) in
2012.
4Jacob LaBelle has attended Ecole Active Bilangue
Jeannine Emmauel School, Paris, France, to learn
French and has also finished two semesters in
Chile from 2011 to 2012 to strengthen his grip on
Spanish along with Hawaiian and Japanese, which
he studied at the University of Hawaii studies.
5Jacob LaBelle worked as In Re Flint Water Crisis-
Intern in the Summer of 2018. Previously, he was
involved with Whitewater Raft Guide as a Raft
master in the Summer of 2015. In 2014, he was
engaged in Projects Abroad Internship including
Phuket, Thailand Reef and Marine, Dive and Lab
Analysis Preservation Project.
6Jacob LaBelle co-founded Youth 4 Youth Justice in
2009. In 2015, he was engaged in the CDWI
Commercial Diver Program- surface supply, diving
bell, cement and weld full cert, DCBC (Diver
Certification Board of Canada). Jacob LaBelle has
been a Certified Class V- Kayak, Canoe and Raft
Guide since 2015.
7In addition, Jacob LaBelle is serving as a
Certified PADI Rescue Diver after receiving his
PADI Advanced Open Water Certificate, Radio
Operators Certificate, Canadian Power and Sail
Squadrons Restricted Maritime VHF, Helmet and
Bandmask Operators Certificate.
