Is The CompTIA A Hard? How To Pass It In 2022?
In order to become CompTIA A certi?ed, you must
?rst pass two exams. These tests are like any
other written test you've ever taken. Each test
contains a variety of questions designed to
assess your knowledge in speci?c areas. Because
each test taker has a different level of IT
experience, knowledge, and abilities, determining
how di?cult the exams are is di?cult.
Individuals may also have a different approach to
exams and varying levels of test-taking
anxiety. Is the CompTIA A exam di?cult? Remember
that the more prepared you are, the better you
will perform. Understanding what to expect from
the exams is part of that preparation. Try our

  • Is the CompTIA A hard?
  • The CompTIA A is as di?cult as any other
entry-level professional licencing exam. It also
depends on your level of knowledge and
experience, as well as your technical ability and
ability to quickly learn new software and
    hardware features and components.
  • As of 2019, the CompTIA A exam is now part of
    CompTIA's Core Certi?cations. This certi?cation
is essential for anyone just starting out in the
IT industry because it shows a strong commitment
to the ?eld and provides a solid fundamental
understanding of computer systems. However, how
di?cult is CompTIA A? How much time and effort
will you need to put in to get a passing grade?
  • If you read the personal accounts of CompTIA A
certi?ed holders, you'll ?nd a wide range of
    answers.
  • How can I pass my CompTIA exam?
  • Getting familiar with course content
  • Core 1 (220-1001) and Core 2 (220-1002) are the
two exams that comprise the A certi?cation
    (220-1002).
  • On both tests, the total number of questions is
limited to 90. The questions are
  • multiple-choice and performance-based. A
scenario-based investigation provides you with a
scenario to troubleshoot as if you were in a
real-world situation. It requires you to apply
your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.
  • Cores 1 and 2 last 90 minutes each. Because there
are no prerequisites for these, you can begin
studying for them even if you are a complete IT
novice. However, CompTIA recommends that you
have at least nine months of experience as an IT
support expert. This is not required in any way,
and there are numerous examples of people who
have easily passed the A despite having no
    prior work experience.
  • Core 1 Exam
  • Exam objectives can be broken down into
percentages (the amount they are re?ected on the
    exam) in Core 1.
  • Hardware (27)
  • Hardware Troubleshooting and Network

  • Networking (20)

3
  • Virtualization, Cloud Computing (12)
  • Core 1 receives a passing score 675 on a scale
    from 100 to 900.
  • Core 2 Exam
  • Core 2 focuses more on software, cybersecurity
and operating procedures. Core 1 focuses more on
    hardware.
  • Operating Systems (27)
  • Software Troubleshooting (26)
  • Security (24)
  • Operational Procedures (23)
  • Core 2 requires minimum score of 700 on a scale
from 100 to 900 to pass.
  • Core1 and Core2 are combined to concentrate on
    the following IT areas.
  • Hardware Infrastructure (35)
  • Security (21)
  • Ops and Service (19)
