4
The Compressor
The component of the system that increases
refrigerant pressure is the compressor. Before
the condensing coil, this part is located outside
the condensing unit. Because of the pressure it
exerts, it is more likely to shatter or burn out.
If you looking AC replacement in Los Angeles
contact us.
5
The Condensing Coil
The refrigerant has absorbed heat, which is
released into the surrounding air by the
condensing coil. Since air constantly flows
through it, it is prone to becoming clogged with
dirt and debris. It should be rigorously cleaned
as part of your regular spring maintenance to
keep it operating properly.
6
The Condensing Fan
In addition to the condensing coil, there is a
condensing fan. Air is sucked in through the
condensing coil and vented out the top of the
system when used. These fans are prone to minor
issues, but if they are caught early enough, they
are quite straightforward to resolve. The fan
blades may gradually become looser, but it is
easy to tighten them back up. If this is the
case, you might hear a buzzing or rattling sound.
7
The Evaporator Coil
The evaporator coil, located within your home, is
the system's low-pressure side. The refrigerant
travels through an expansion valve just before
the evaporator coil. This limits the amount of
refrigerant that can enter the coil, causing the
pressure to decrease quickly and the coil to
become extremely cold. Contact us for AC repair
in Los Angeles.
8
The Blower Fan
The blower fan facilitates air circulation
throughout your home, which is necessary for both
your heating and cooling systems. It sucks air
into the home through the intake, pushes it
through the filter, the coil, and back out again
under the name "circulating fan."
