What is Espresso?
While making a perfect espresso shot, you need to
ensure that the finely grounded coffee beans pass
through hot water. This combination further
results in a fully enriched flavour of strong and
dark coffee. As per the calculations, a single
shot of espresso contains approximately 64 mg of
caffeine. Due to the presence of such a high
amount of caffeine, espresso is even more
concentrated than black coffee. Mostly, the
espresso is served in small cups. These cups are
capable of holding approximately two to four
ounces of espresso drink. This serving method is

Different types of espresso drinks-
1) Espresso- As mentioned earlier, the simplest
kind of espresso is the single shot espresso. To
prepare this, all you need to do is use a
combination of a single shot filter and
approximately six to eight grams of finely ground
coffee. 2) Doppio- This is the synonym for
double shot espresso. The preparation of this one
includes a larger amount of coffee grounds. To
pull these kinds of double espresso shots, you
need to use a double shot filter. 3)Ristretto-
This one is a quite stronger shot. And, the
preparation of Ristretto needs using very finely
grounded coffee beans and exactly half the amount
of water. 4)Cappuccino- One-third of the
espresso is what a Cappuccino is made of. All the
other ingredients are one-third hot milk, and
one-third milk foam. 5)Caffe Latte- This one is
also made up of one-third of espresso, the volume
of hot milk is two thirds, followed by a topping
of microfoam. Usually, caffe latte is made out of
double shots of espresso and are topped with
cinnamon, brown sugar and cocoa powder.

6)Piccolo Latte- Piccolo is a Latin word meaning
small. This is more like a Ristretto shot. The
only inclusion is it is topped with warm
milk. 7)Mocha- This one is a very sweet drink
of the coffee family. It consists of a latte with
chocolate syrup. As per your taste, you can
customise this variant and replace it with any
other thing of your choice such as
caramel. Conclusion- Bold blend coffee can be
