Title: What are its Benefits and How to Use CBG Distillate | Carol Indica

1
What is Cannabigerol (CBG)?
What are its Benefits and How to Use It?
2
The name itself gives it all out. If you still
don't get it, Cannabigerol (CBG) is a type of
cannabinoid obtained from the cannabis plant. It
is usually referred to as the mother of all
cannabinoids. That is probably because other
cannabinoids are derived from cannabigerolic acid
(CBGA) an acid form of CBG. Other cannabinoids
obtained from the cannabis plant that you must've
heard about are Cannabidiol (CBD) and
tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
3
Here's a fun fact CBG distillate is found in
smaller quantities when compared to other
cannabinoids in cannabis plants. In most strains
of the plant, only 1 of CBG can be found
compared to 20 to 25 of CBD or 25 to 30 of THC.
That explains the reason why consumer products
derived from the cannabinoid are rare and often
expensive. Irrespective of the price tag, CBG is
growing in popularity, and the reason behind that
is the list of benefits it offers.
4
How Does CBG Works?!
You'd be surprised to know the body's
endocannabinoid system processes that bulk broad
spectrum CBG distillate. This system is made up
of molecules and receptors in our bodies that are
responsible for keeping our bodies in an optimal
state regardless of what's going on the external
environment.
5
Cannabinoid Receptors in the Body
The human body contains two types of cannabinoid
receptors CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are found
in our nervous system and brain, while CB2, on
the other hand, is located in the immune system
and other areas of the body. CBG simply works by
binding to both receptors where it is likely to
strengthen the function of anandamide, a
neurotransmitter that plays a significant role in
enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating
appetite and sleep, and alleviating pain. Unlike
THC, CBG won't give you a high.
6
Benefits of CBG
  • You'd be surprised to know that CBG distillate
syringe has therapeutic potential for the
    treatment of Glaucoma
  • Huntington's disease is a condition that causes a
breakdown of nerve cells, and CBG has the
    potential to treat it.
  • CBG has antibacterial properties, especially
against methicillin, a kind of bacteria that
causes staph infections and is drug-resistant.
  • Researchers have shown that CBG can block the
receptors that cause cancer cell growth and
inhibit the growth of colorectal cancer cells.
  • An experiment that was conducted in 2013 showed
that CBG could ease the effects of inflammatory
    bowel disease.
