• The Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth into being in the
  year 1972.
• However, The College is recognized and approved
  by the National Assessment and Accreditation
  Council (NAAC).
• Moreover, it is affiliated to agricultural
  university.
• Although, It was renamed as Dr. Balasaheb Sawant
  Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli on 12th Febuary
  2001.
• Also, the vission of the college is to assure

  natural approach to food and employment security,
  through breeding, appraisal, refinement and
  acceptance of applicable technologies.

  need of the Konkan country with regards to

HISTORY

• The Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth came into being in
  the year 1972.
• The University Grants Commission was likewise
  satisfied to incorporate our school under segment
  2(f) and 12 (B) of the U.G.C. Act. 1956.
• Since then the UGC funds under different schemes
  being alloted to under respective plans.
• However, the institution is committed to maintain
  values, beliefs and attitudes that shapes and
  enhance the behaviour in the path of success.
• Moreover, the development of manpower possesses
  technology and manegiral knowledge that
  contributes the socio-economic development of the
  society.
• Likewise, the college applied for the
  accreditation of its various programmes by the
  National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of AICTE.
• Also, the college affiliated to Agricultural
  University.
