access to mental health with ease. Our main goal
of providing mental health psychological
service to those throughout Australia. Everybody
deserves to feel valued, worthwhile, and at
peace mentally in their lives. This is what we
worked towards when we founded and still today.
There is a common assumption that only certain
people who are struggling need the help of a
psychologist. This is not true and in fact,
everyone could benefit from therapy services of
just talking to a trained psychologist. We are
here for those who need us no matter what comes
up in life whether it is situational or clinical
depression, losing someone you care for,
addiction, everyday stress, and more. Whatever
is causing you mental health issues in your
life, Life Resolutions Psychology is here to
provide help. The same way people have personal
challenges, companies can also face times of
hardship. We are still committed to our personal
goals of providing help to those in need of
mental health care. We work to try to help our
patients in all areas of mental health that
people might struggle with including but not

Mary Magalotti Life Resolutions Director
Prior to joining Jodie Brenton in 2001, Life
Resolutions Mary Magalotti had her own private
practice psychology firm in Melbourne where she
worked as a psychologist. With her career choice
being a psychologist, she has always devoted her
time to other mental health wellbeing. She also
had the same vision making mental health services
more available to those throughout her home
country. She understood that if psychologists
personally had to spend less time working on
administrative, marketing, finance, and all
other internal business operation work, then the
psychologists will have more free time to spend
with patients in need. How we think, our overall
mood, and how we interact with others around us
is all impacted by our mental state. Mary
believes this is why its important for the
services of mental health to be easily
accessible.

• Mary has vast amounts of industry knowledge in
  both running a psychology firm being a trained
  psychologist. Her areas of specialty include but
  are not limited to clinical supervision,
  cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), stress
  management, private practice management, medical
  practice management, business relationship
  management, counselling psychology,
  psychological assessment, and working with
  adolescents.
• As a private practice psychologist owner, Mary
  has always had the goal to help others
  priorities their mental health to therefore live
  a happier healthier life. This is why she
  joined Jodie Brenton in 2001 to create Life
  Resolutions and bring mental health solutions to
  more Australians. She believes it is important to
  help others improve their perspective on how
  they view themselves to see an enhancement in
  their mental health status.
• The way we see the world affects the way we
  behave and the way we act towards others, says
  Mary. This is one of the reasons Mary believes
  mental illness should be taken seriously. The
  idea behind Life Resolutions to provide mental
  health access to anyone who might need the help
  of trained psychologists.

At Life Resolutions, we firmly believe that every
single person deserves to feel valued, happy
with a sense of peace. However, for many
Australians, this is not their reality. According
to Beyond Blue, one in six Australians are
currently experiencing depression, anxiety or
both. This statistic shakes us, especially
because we know that a large portion of those
people experiencing anxiety or depression wont
be receiving the help they require. For this
reason, we are dedicated to working towards
increasing the accessibility and affordability
of quality mental healthcare, so that any person
in need of help is able to access it easily, no
matter their financial status, location, age or
background.
