• This article guides you through the installation
  of Windows versions of QuickBooks Desktop.

• Detailed Installation Instructions
• 1. Run the QuickBooks Setup file you downloaded
  earlier.
• 2. Click Yes to all or any if prompted to
  overwrite the prevailing files when the installer
  extracts the files.
• 3. Click Next to start the installation.
• 4. Read the Software License Agreement. If you
  agree, select I accept the terms within the
  license agreement and click on Next.
• 5. Enter your License and merchandise numbers and
  click on Next.

  account and choose your QuickBooks product to

• 6. If you employ Pro/Premier/Accountant edition,

  (Enterprise doesn't have an Express option.)

  share data with other users on a network.

  you're installing Enterprise, you'll see these
  choices

  choose this if you're not using QuickBooks during
  a network OR if you're installing on a computer
  which will be used for running QuickBooks but
  won't store the corporate file.

  often shared over our network - choose this if
  you'll be running QuickBooks and storing/sharing
  the corporate file on the network from this
  machine.

  isn't required for this feature .) - choose this
  if nobody are going to be using QuickBooks on
  this computer and it'll be used as a digital
  computer to share the corporate file over the

  registered by pressing the F2 key on your
  keyboard while using QuickBooks to mention the

• 2. search for the registration status to the
  proper of your registration number
• 3. If your QuickBooks isn't ACTIVATED or
  UNREGISTERED, attend the assistance menu and
  choose Activate QuickBooks (or Register
  QuickBooks in QuickBooks 2015 and earlier).
