  • Bioengineering is the merging of engineering
    principals and biological systems in order to
    design and develop new bio-based technologies.
    Disciplines are diverse, ranging from
    applications in bio-medical research to
    agricultural engineering. Just a few examples of
    the type of exploration conducted under

Neuroscience
  • Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system,
    it includes everything from behavioural and
    cognitive brain function to nerves and the spinal
    cord. In neuroscience applications, gene
    synthesis is used to help researchers study
    within the field of genetic engineering. Codon
    optimized synthesized genes can be used to
    visualize and study various neuronal pathways,
    allowing neurobiologists and researchers to work
    with the synaptic signalling mechanisms that
    control everything from addiction to memory loss.

    synthesis is widely used in this field to provide
    researchers with custom codon-optimized gene
    sequences that help to improve the expression of
    antigenic proteins and peptides, and aid in the
    development of these antibody-based drugs.
