What no one tells you about softened water

  • However, rainwater is soft water and the
preferred kind of water for your plants do not
    confuse rainwater with soft water.
  • Softened water is often harmful for your crops.
  • Rainwater is free of the salts, minerals, and
contaminants present in water, groundwater, and
    surface water handled by municipalities.
  • Rainwater has a higher nitrogen level, too.
  • Typically, plants consume much of their soil
nitrates, and those nitrates come from the rain.

3
  • It becomes "hard" by picking up and holding
minerals like chalk, lime, calcium and magnesium
as rain falls to the ground and mixes with the
    soil.
  • I am sure that when water evaporates, you find
residue on your car or walls.
  • The residue is the minerals that the water
    absorbs.
  • On cars and walls, we call these "water spots" or
    on shower faucets "lime".
  • Hard water is the water you get from the local
water provider or the water from your well.
  • We drink hard water which has these minerals and
    the minerals help our bodies.
  • Hard water also has a better taste than softened
    water.

4
What is softened water?
  • With the calcium and magnesium extracted,
softened water is essentially hard water.
  • Using salt to eliminate the minerals in the water
is the most common and least costly way to soften
    water.
  • Hard water that goes through the softening phase
ends up in the water with just one ion and that
    ion is salt.
  • This helps keep the tub clean and the head
cleaner for the shower. Your appliances should be
    more effective at running.
  • Salt in your water can however, have harmful
    effects on your plants.

5
  • Plants do not like salt, and since they can not
tolerate the exposure, they will die.
  • In addition, the plants may not want to soak up
the salt, so they will start soaking up less
    water.
  • This will allow the soil to accumulate salt.
  • I'm sure all of you have noticed, in your soil,
white lines or white lines that are red flags for
    your soil's excessive salt.
  • In an attempt to push the salt down into the
surface, you would then have to waste water by
    over watering.
  • In the end, you will face a big bill to treat the
    soil with so much salt.
  • Eventually, this can turn into a costly waste
    method.

TWS Solution for hard water problems in
Agriculture
  • Water becomes hard when it comes to the water
pipe line, drip irrigation line and sprinkler
nozzle are choked for a period of time because of
the vast amount of minerals found in water, and
there is no uniform supply of water to all crops.
  • Hard TDS water also burns leaf tips, decreases
plant growth, affects crop yield as opposed to
regular water farming, and also damages the
    structure of the soil.

Agriculture Water Conditioner Benefits
  • Saves water by 20 to 30
  • The vegetation period decreases.
  • Crop production crop quality increases.
  • Improves soil structure. Controlling PH level.
  • Remove and prevent scaling on dripper and
    sprinkler
  • Reduce tip burning problem in leaves upto 45 to
    60
  • Increase growth rate of all types of crops
    plants by 35 to 40
  • Increase solubility of water for fertilizers.

9
  • Increase oxygen concentration which increase seed
    germination
  • Reduces effect of Chlorides Fluorides,
    increases roots efficiency
  • Water is absorbed into the ground more easily
  • Fertilizer and Pesticides are mix very well and
    it gives better result.
  • It clean the root hair and root cap area in the
    soil.
  • Pure form of minerals will be kept in water which
    help the crops.
  • It enhances plant growth.
  • Reduces effect of Chlorides Fluorides,
    increases roots efficiency
  • After a month - the number of blocked drippers
    was declining and The usual
  • procedure of cleaning dripper and flushing the
    lines is not required
