4 Interesting Destinations in Seattle to Make
your Holidays More Exciting
Seattle is the largest city in the North West
Pacific Region, a seaport city located on the
Westcoast of the United States. Seattle is the
15th largest and one of the fastest-growing
cities in the United States. Before the European
settlers, it was inhabited by the Native
Americans about 4,000 years ago. Today a mixed
population of the natives, Asian American,
African American, and Scandinavian people make up
the city. When we talk about beautiful places,
Seattle steals the show, it is home to some of
the most beautiful places on this planet. Some of
the most popular attractions in Seattle include
Chihuly Garden and Glass, Museum of Pop Culture,
the Olympic Sculpture Park, the Space Needle, the
Pike Place Market Foundation, and many more.

Chihuly Garden and Glass Chihuly Garden and
Glass is a glass studio of Dale Chihuly that
opened in May 2012 in the Fun Forest. It exhibits
three primary components- the Glasshouse, the
garden, and the Interior Exhibits. It also houses
a 90-seat café, an outdoor dining area, a 50 seat
multi-use theatre, a lecture space, lobby, etc.
The 100-foot long installation inside is the
largest suspended sculptures-designed by Owen
Richards.

The Museum of Pop Culture The Museum of Pop
Culture is a nonprofit museum in Seattle founded
by Paul Allen in 2000. This museum is founded on
the grounds of contemporary popular culture and
features dozen organized exhibits that have a
huge replica in the US and internationally. It
was initially called as Experience Music Project
and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame. The
Museum exhibits pop culture, science fiction,
horror cinemas, interactive activities, the
largest collections of artifacts, 500 musical
instruments, photographs, and many more.

The Olympic Sculpture Park The Olympic Sculpture
Park is operated by the Seattle Art Museum
exhibiting both modern and contemporary
experiences. The park first opened to the public
on January 20, 2007, and is situated in Belltown
along the northern end of the Central waterfront
and the south end of Myrtle Edwards Park. The
park features a 9acre outdoor sculpture museum,
an indoor pavilion, a beach, etc.

The Space Needle The Space Needle is one of the
most visited observation towers in Seattle. It is
an important landmark located in the Pacific
Northwest, Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. The
Space Needle was built for the 1962 Worlds Fair
and has been designated as a Seattle Landmark. It
was once considered the tallest structure along
the Mississippi River and was built to withstand
strong winds and earthquakes. It comprises 25
lightning rods, an observation deck that offers
spectacular views of the Seattle skyline, the
Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Baker, Mount
Rainier, and the surrounding areas.
