San Francisco is the 16th most populated city of
the US and one of the most visited cities in the
world. San Francisco besides its rising horizons
in culture and history it is also one of the best
regions in America to experience an eclectic dime
of urban spaces, the mix of architecture, the
grandeur of rolling hills, and its amazing
destinations to beat the heat. Some of the most
interesting places worth exploring in San
Francisco include the Golden Gate Bridge,
Fishermans Wharf, Chinatown District, San
Francisco Museum of Art, Alcatraz Island, and
many more.

The Golden Gate Bridge The Golden Gate Bridge is
a beautiful suspension Golden Gate bridge that
connects San Francisco Bay with the Pacific
Ocean. The Gate stretches for 1.6km and is the
main gateway for the San Francisco Peninsula to
Marin County. It is an iconic landmark in the
United States designed by mastermind- Joseph
Strauss in 1917. The Golden Bridge has in fact
been declared as the Wonders of the Modern World
as it is possibly one of the most beautiful and
photographic bridges in the world. Around 1937 it
was one of its kind the tallest and the longest
suspension bridge in the world.

Alcatraz Island Alcatraz Island is located
offshore of San Francisco, a small island that
served as a military fortification, a military
prison until 1963. Alcatraz island partially from
the Golden Gate Bridge and in 1986 it has been
designated as a National Historic Landmark. Point
of interest here includes the Wardens House and
Social Hall, Building 64, Water Tower, the
Recreation Yard, the Cellhouse, Lighthouse, the
Dining Hall, and many more.

The Lombard Street The Lombard Street is located
on the east-west of San Francisco and is notable
for its zig-zag steep one block eight hairpin
turns. It stretches all the way from the Presidio
east up to the Embarcadero street, it has been
designated as part of US Route 101 and is claimed
to be the most crooked street in the world. If
