VoIP or Landline
  • The main difference between VoIP software and
landline phones is the way each service is
delivered. While VoIP software uses a cloud-based
solution, landlines use an old-fashioned analog
system that's transmitted via your local or
    regional telephone company's copper wiring.

3
VoIP Phone System
  • A VoIP phone is a hardware- or software-based
telephone designed to use voice over IP (VoIP)
technology to send and receive phone calls over
an IP network. They also have additional
performance requirements because phone calls are
placed over the internet instead of the legacy
    public switched telephone network (PSTN).

4
Landline
  • A landline telephone (also known as land line,
land-line, main line, home phone, landline,
fixed-line, and wireline) is a phone that uses a
metal wire or optical fiber telephone line for
transmission as distinguished from a mobile
cellular line, which uses radio waves for
    transmission.
