LeJean Coetzee is currently involved in the
operational functions of the asset management,
financial and regulatory aspects of FMG Group.
For the 8 years prior to joining FMG, he worked
in Operational and Risk departments for
Institutional and Alternative Fund Managers.
LeJean was employed as Head of Operations for
Culross Global IM (MLT) and prior to that, he was
a Performance Analyst for ING IM (NL). At the
start of his career LeJean was a Fund
Administrator for TMF Fund Services (NL). He
holds a Bachelor degree in Business
Administration from The Hague University.

• Portfolio analysis - equity and fixed income
  performance attribution analysis and portfolio
  analytics
• Fund valuation - ensuring valuation policies and
  methodologies are being adhered to on a broad
  range of products
• Settlements - proactive in ensuring trades are
  executed and settled within required timeframes,
  making sure that required documentation are
  collected and delivered on time to the interested
  parties
• GIPS compliance - compliance oversight,
  monitoring policies and procedures and assisting
  with marketing material
• Financials - including production of balance -,
  profit and loss - and cash flow statements,
  inclusive of explanatory text and various ratios
• FX Hedging - calculation of different classes
  hedging requirement, making sure the rate given
  by broker is adequate

  using VBA and C code and managing data using SQL
• Creating and maintaining SharePoint sites for
  content management and compliant workflows
• Ensuring new systems and interfaces are fit for
  purpose by taking ownership of requirements
  gathering in design phase, testing and supporting
  the technology teams with implementation
• Wide knowledge of software and systems
  interaction and interfaces for controlling and
  supplying data to various in-house and third
  party - accounting, valuation and reporting
  systems
• Managing access rights to applications and acting
  as first point of contact for any IT related
  issues
