• A computer is an electronic device that stores,
  retrieves and processes data. It can be
  programmed with instructions. A computer is
  composed of hardware and software, which
  transforms some data into information. Hardware
  represents physical and tangible components of
  computer. 
• Software is a set of programs that govern
  operation of computer system and make hardware
  run. Peripherals are hardware devices that
  surround the system unit.
•  A computer follows the I-P-O cycle, i.e., it
  needs certain input, carries out a process and
  produces output. Computer is used in each and
  every aspect of human life. They are used for
  commercial purposes as wel ll as for personal
  use.
• Strengths of Computers include Speed, Accuracy,
  Versatility, Reliability and high Storage
  Capacity. Weakness of Computers include Zero IQ
  and lack of decision making power.
