What is stress
  • Stress is a feeling that people have when they
feel overburdened and struggling to cope with
demands. It is your way of responding to any kind
of situation or threat. Sometimes even positive
changes in life such as promotion, childbirth,
produce stress. During stress heart rate
    increases, breathing quickens, muscles tighten
and blood pressure rises. Hence, these also are
the signs of stress and it needs to be treated.

Signs of stress1.Headaches
  •
  •
  • Stress is the most common cause of tension and
headaches. It also includes other types of
headaches like migraines or make an existing
    headache worse.
  • Episodic Tension Headaches
  • It can last 30 minutes to a week. Repeated
episodic tension headaches occur less than 15
days a month for at least three months. Frequent
episodic headaches may become chronic. So, it is
    a sign of stress.
  • Chronic Tension Headaches
  • This headache lasts hours and may be continuous.
If your headaches occur 15 or more days a month

2 acne
  •
  • Acne is one of the most visible ways of stress.
When some people are feeling stressed out, they
tend to touch their face more frequently. This
can spread bacteria and contribute to the
    development of acne.
  • Various studies have also confirmed that acne may
be associated with a higher level of stress. One
more study measured acne severity in 22 people
    before and during an exam.

3.Digestive Issues
  •
  • Problems like Diarrhea and Constipation are signs
of high level of stress. Stress may especially
affect those with digestive disorders such as
irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or inflammatory
bowel disease (IBD). In one study, higher daily
stress levels were linked with increased
digestive distress in 181 women with IBS.

4. Appetite Changes
  •
  • Changes in appetite are normal  during times of
stress. These changes in appetite may also cause
fluctuations in weight during stressful periods.
A study of college students shows that 81
reported that they experienced changes in
appetite when they were stressed out.
  • In a study of 129 people, it is discovered that
changes in behaviour is also a cause of stress
for example eating without being hungry.
  • While these studies show a relation between
stress and changes in appetite or weight, more
studies are needed to understand whether other
    factors are involved.

5. Insomnia
  • Insomnia is a common sleep disorder that can make
it hard to fall asleep, or cause you to wake up
too early. It also affects your energy level,
mood and your health. Insomnia can also affect
your work performance and quality of life.
  • Seven to eight hours of sleep is enough but it
also varies from person to person. Consequently,
Insomnia is clearly a sign of stress.

  •
  • Frequent sickness is also a sign of stress. A
person repeatedly injected with diseases for
example fever, cold infections, typhoid is
    definitely going through stress. Repeated
sickness can affect ones health permanently. So,
treatment needs to be done as soon as possible.

7. Low Energy
  •
  • Low energy is also a sign of stress. If a person
seems to be weak or is not perfectly fine then,
it is a sign that he is going through stress.
Subsequently it occurs when a person is not
feeling good, or suffers from depression,
anxieties etc. Because of this, a person is
unable to perform its day to day activities.
  • So above all are the signs of stress, which needs
to be recovered as soon as possible. There are
also various treatments and therapies available
to cure these symptoms. One should take care of
    it before it gets worse.
