• Shawnee Knight from New Canaan is a passionate
  chef, community activist, board member, wife, and
  a mother who plays each role with utmost
  perfection.
• Shawnee always wanted to marry her love of food,
  community, and charity and co-founding Filling in
  the Blanks allowed her to do just that.
• She is also classically trained at the French
  Culinary Institute of NYC.

• She has been married to Douglas Knight of New
  Canaan for 20 years now and is a mother to two
  young boys.
• Her elder son Andrew Knight has graduated from
  the New Canaan High School and is currently a
  sophomore at the Skidmore College.
• Andrew contributes to Filling in the Blanks as
  well.
