Silverpoint Drawing Kit
Silverpoint Drawing Kit has everything needed for
silverpoint (and metalpoint) drawing. The kit
includes a silverpoint dual stylus, one of each
points silver (99.9), sterling silverpoint,
copper point, nickel, red brass and yellow brass
points (a total of six metalpoints), copper wool
pad, Traditional Silverpoint / Drawing Ground,
Maped Epure vinyl eraser and step-by-step
instructions.

Gold Point (Thin)
Silverpoint
Silverpoint is made from pure silver wire.
Available in two widths, the wide point (2 mm
diameter) is shaped on both ends, a cone on one
end and a bevel on the other end. The thin point
(0.9 mm) is shaped to a cone only on one end. All
points measure 5 cm (2 inches) in length.
Gold Point (0.9 mm) made from 99.9 gold (24
karat) and shaped to a cone on one end. The 25 mm
(1 in) length lasts through many drawings.

Silverpoint Dual Stylus
Silverpoint Dual Stylus is a 15 cm (5.75 in) long
solid metal stylus that holds a different
diameter silverpoint on each end. The stylus is a
metal tube split at both ends so as to grasp the
silverpoint or other metalpoint held tightly by
sliding rings, similar to porte-crayons that hold
pieces of chalk or crayon. The stylus features a
knurled surface (small beads on the metal
surface) to aid in gripping. Metalpoints can be
easily changed so as to accommodate a wide
variety of metals and metalpoint widths.

Brass Point
Brass Points are available in two types, red and
yellow brass and in two widths, 0.9 mm (thin) and
2 mm (wide). Brass is a metal alloy made of
copper and zinc the proportions of zinc and
copper can be varied to create a range of brasses
with varying properties. Red Brass Point is made
from brass alloy wire. Available in two widths,
the wide point (2 mm diameter) is shaped on both
ends, a cone on one end and a bevel on the other
end. The thin point (0.9 mm) is shaped to a cone
only on one end. All points measure 5 cm (2
inches) in length.
