Step 1Decide on the Certification you want to
take up

• Determine between Six Sigma certification or Lean
  Six Sigma certification. Your management
  philosophy will be the touchstone of making this
  decision.
• Six Sigma defines waste as a variation within
  business processes. If you believe in a
  consistent process, you'd probably be most
  comfortable with this type of certification.

Step 2Decide on the level of certification that
is best for you

• This depends on factors like the role you are
  playing, what are your future goals etc. A
  person managing a project will obviously require
  more knowledge that a person who is in a support
  role.

  the quality management spectrum or project
  management spectrum, climbing up the Lean Six

• This is just like enrolling for a college. Once

  can enroll with them and take up the training.
  While it is important to decide on a good
