  • Chait is known as Dholru.It is celebrated on the
    first day of Chait month for drives away all bad
    and to usher in prosperity and happiness.
  • Haryali is held on the first day of
    Shravana.Haryaki clay idols of Shiva and Parvati
    are married on this day.
  • Sair and Nawala is held in September or October
    basically a festival of thanks giving. A barbar
    goes round with a fruit in basket and residents
    bow to the fruit wishing for a rich harvest.
